MILITARY FUNERAL AT BEBINGTON.

Much sympathy has been extended by a wide circle of friends to Mr. and Mrs. Parry, of 50 Elmswood Road, Tranmere, in the loss they have sustained by the death of their son, Private Hugh Parry, at the comparatively early age of 31 years. Deceased had served in the Royal Army Service Corps, and had been in France about four years, only been demobilised about three weeks ago, succumbing to illness contracted whilst on active service.

The funeral which took place on Friday, the 11th inst, with full military honours was attended by a large gathering, a detachment of the Leicester Regiment. Being in attendance with gun carriage and firing party, and at the close of the service the “Last Post” was most impressively sounded.
