John Thomas's Story.
John Thomas Bell was born 13 May 1897, Lach Dennis, Cheshire, to George and Elizabeth Bell nee Riley. He was their sixth of ten children. John was baptised on the 14 July 1897 at St Oswald’s Church, Lower Peover Church, Cheshire.John passed his medical on the 7 September 1914, he served in the 10th Bn. Cheshire Regiment 15488, killed in action 24th March 1918, remembered with Honour at Arras Memorial.
