Nathaniel Lames Merriman's Story.
Nathaniel James Merriman Barry was the son of Sir Jacob and Lady Mary Barry. He married Marion Boyd and lived at The Lodges, Overbury, Tewkesbury. He was a farmer at ‘Rustenburg’, Naivasha, British East Africa.
He became a captain in the General Service attached to the East Africa Transport Corp.
Unfortunately all the records have been destroyed so we know very little about Nathaniel.
He was killed in action on the 21st October 1917.
