Sydney's Story.



   Sydney was born in Malpas, Cheshire in 1894. He lived with his father Granville, a machine printer, & his mother Mary at 25 Lord Street, Altrincham. He had 6 brothers, Fred, William, Percy, George, Horace & Reg, & 2 sisters, Muriel & Avril. By 1911 they were living at 76 Stamford Park Road, Hale.
   Sydney enlisted in Wrexham. He entered France on the 27th August 1914. He was killed in action on the 27th August 1914.

Attacks by the enemy from 12 midnight to 6.05 am. Enemy kept back.
