Percy's Story.
Percy was born in 1899, 3rd son of Samuel and Isabella Moss of The Huts, Statham The family later resided at the Baptist Chpel House as Samuel was the chapel caretaker. Percy was educated ay Lymm Parochial School. He initially enlisted with the Manchester Regiment in Altrincham, service number 61037, trasnferring to the East Lancashire Regiment at a later date.He was killed on 28th September 1918 aged 19
