Wilfred's Story.

Born on 28 April 1899 at Crowton, son of railway labourer, William and Elizabeth, (nee, Partington), Chrimes, of, Bent Lane, Crowton, Cheshire.
Wilfred had a younger sister, Elizabeth Alice.
Wilfred enlisted at Northwich, 25 May 1918; he was drafted to France on 28 September, 1918 and was wounded as soon as he reached the trenches. He died of wounds on Friday, 4 October 1918, he was aged 19 years.
