Robert William's Story.

Born Lancaster, June 6, 1890. Son of Mr and Mrs Robert W. Williams of 14, Orchard Street, Crewe. Attended Hightown LNWR Boys School. Formerly employed in Crewe Works as a fitter’s apprentice. Enlisted in the Royal Navy on May 20, 1909. Died as a result of a bullet wound to the head (received on June 5), a day before his 25th birthday.
