Frederick's Story.

The Late Sapper Fred Cooper.

As announced in last week’s Guardian official news has been received of the death of malarial fever on December 29 last of Sapper Fred Cooper, R.E. He joined the Royal Engineers in 1915 and was previously employed on the London and Northwestern Railway as a platelayer at Old Trafford, Manchester. He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cooper, Burland, and was one of their four sons who joined his Majesty’s Forces.
