John Thomas's Story.

Born Brindley, enlisted Chester. Son of Thomas and Lucy Stockton of Brindley, near Nantwich. Former pupil at Brindley and Faddiley School. Went to France on April 20, 1915. His brother Charles would be killed in action in October 1916. His brother Fred served in the Royal Engineers.
