Joseph's Story.
Private J. Wood
News has been received by Mrs. Joseph Wood of Stowford (Weston), that her husband, Private Joseph Wood has been killed in action. Before the war he was employed at Crewe Hall Farm. He had been in the army two years and four months, and was in the R.W.F. Before the joining up he was a zealous worker of the Primitive Methodist Church, Weston. When on leave six weeks ago he conducted the Sunday services. He leaves a widow and one daughter. He was 35 years of age.
