Birkenhead News 12 December 1914Rock Ferry Soldier Killed in Action.
We regret to announce that news has just been received in Rock Ferry of the death of Mr. F. A. Jackson, who has been killed in action at La Basee.
Private Jackson, who was attached to the 3rd Battalion, Cheshire Regiment, married a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Crosthwaite (who have three sons fighting for their country), and leaves a widow and two children.
