The Wounded
PRIVATE E. MANLEY
In the casualty lists is the name of Private E. Manley of the 2nd Cheshire Regiment, whose home is in Ramsbottom Street, Crewe. Manley enlisted in the Cheshire Regiment about five years ago and was in India when war broke out. He came home on a brief furlough at Christmas and proceeded with his regiment to France in January. He is in the Manchester Hospital suffering from wounds in the left wrist and shoulder.
Ephriam was discharged from the army 15th June 1916.
