Arthur's Story.
Arthur was born in 1898 in Statham, Lymm, eldest son of Mrs Eunice Miller of 10 Newfield,Lymm. He attended Lymm Parochial school and was a worshipper at the Congregational Church in Lymm. In civilian life he was emloyed at Long's Tannery.
After enlisting with the Cheshire Regiment at Chester, he completed his training and saw active service at the western front for 5 months.
He was killed in action on 3rd August 1917 aged 19.
