Born Church Coppenhall, Crewe, enlisted Stafford.
Son of Mrs Ellen Piggott of 6, Clark Street, Crewe.
A former engine cleaner in the LNWR and went to France on October 6.
Died of burns sustained when a motorcar he was driving, caught fire.
