Inniskilling Fusilier Killed in Action.

Private Oliver Sheard.

Mrs. Sheard, 20, Tower Road, Higher Tranmere, has recently received the official information of the death in action of her husband, Pte. Oliver Sheard, of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Pte. Sheard was killed on September 6th in the recent heavy fighting. He joined the Cheshires upon the outbreak of war and was afterwards drafted to the King’s Liverpool Regiment, and finally to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Before joining the colours he was employed as a fireman at Messrs. Lever’s, Port Sunlight. The deceased soldier was 37 years of age, and leaves a wife, who does not enjoy the best of health, and three young children, one of them a tiny baby. Mrs. Sheard has the deepest of sympathy in her sad bereavement.
