Joseph's Story.
2/4 Bn. South Lancashire Regiment. Died aged 31 on 13 June 1918.
Son of William and Martha Weaver of Chester, husband of Daisy Alice Weaver of 39 Suffolk Street, Chester. Brother of William Henry Weaver, made Freeman of Chester in 1909, and Sarah A.Weaver. The 1901 Census shows him as a ‘Seedsman’s Clerk’. He worked on the railways as a clerk, and is included on a memorial plaque for railway employees killed in the First World War in the Albion Public House near the Newgate.
Buried at Overleigh Cemetery, Chester.
