Cyril Arthur Morris's Story.
Born Gosford Green, Coventry, October 29, 1889. Son of Arthur James and Sarah Ann Ward and husband of Lily Ward of 16, Elizabeth Street, Crewe. Enlisted at 14, and served for five years in India. On the outbreak of war was a labourer in Crewe Works. His grandfather had fought in the Battle of Waterloo. Went to France (Le Havre) on August 13, 1914.
