Private Wilfrid Stevenson.

News has been received that Private Wilfrid Stevenson, Cheshire Regiment, sixth son of Mr. and Mrs. William Stevenson, Top of Town Farm, has been killed in action. Private Stevenson, who enlisted last February, was formerly in the employ of Mr. Albert Wright, Royals Wood, and at the of enlistment was working for Mr. Isaac Brown, of Hack Green. The letter conveying the news of his death stated that Private Stevenson was killed by a high explosive shell on December 20th.  Another brother Edward Stevenson. Also in the same regiment, has been three times wounded.
