PTE. TOM SHEEN.
Dies from Wounds.
Mr. and Mrs. Sheen, of 21 Cecil Terrace, Chester, have received official intimation that their son, Pte. Tom Sheen, of the R.A.M.C., died from wounds on Oct. 7. Prior to the war Pte. Sheen was employed for a short time at the Upton Asylum and previous to that by Messrs. Summers, Shotton. He enlisted soon after the outbreak of war and had been on active service about fourteen months. The first news of his death was conveyed in a letter from the deceased’s soldier brother Pte. Alf Sheen, also with the R.A.M.C. and later official intimation was received from the Records Office.
