HOYLAKE D.C. MEDALLIST KILLED.

Through a letter received from a superior officer Mr. and Mrs. J. Price, 128, Market Street, Hoylake, have been informed that another of their sons, P.O. Frank Price D.C.M., of the Drake Battalion, Royal Naval Division, paid the extreme sacrifice on August 21st. Deceased, who was only in his 22nd year, was a bright young fellow who was popular with all who knew him, and much pleasure was expressed when it was made known that he was among the recipient of honours. The regret now will be just as general, though it will be some comfort to know that he suffered no pain. His brother William was killed in an earlier stage of the war, and much sympathy is expressed towards his parents and their family in their bereavement.
