Richardson, Thomas, Private, no. 45555, 1st Battalion (63rd Foot) The Manchester Regiment. 3rd son of the late Gardner Richardson, by his wife, Jane. Born Hull, Yorkshire, 28 March, 1868, educated Scarborough, was a butcher. Enlisted in August 1914, served with the Indian Expeditionary Force in India from May 1915, and drowned while on active service at Iyzabad, India 15 July 1917. He married at Liverpool, 7 April 1890, Mary Elizabeth (174, Wheatland, Lane, Seacombe) daughter of the late William Driver, and had four children. Walter Gardner, born 18 July 1896; killed in action. Annie, born, born 22 March 1891. Eliza, born 9 June, 1892 and Almena, born 14 April 1893.
