SAPPER FRED READER KILLED.
Mrs. Reader of 45, Stanley Street, Tranmere, has received news that her husband, Sapper Fred Reader, has been killed in action on July, 11th, 1917. He is the second of five sons to pay the great price. Sapper Reader joined the Army on May 10th, 1916, and was sent to Egypt in the following August. Prior to joining the Army he was employed at Cammell Laird’s, Birkenhead. Deep sympathy will be extended to the relatives in their sad loss.
