Frank's Story.

Born Winsford, enlisted Nantwich. Son of Mrs Manley of 81, Naylor Street, Crewe. Educated at West Street Mixed School. Formerly employed by Mr Pridden of Warmingham and on Mr Richardson’s farm just outside Crewe. Went to France (Le Havre) on January 16, 1915. He returned to France on September 26, following a five day home leave and was killed one week later. His brother Herbert was killed in action in November 1914.
