Harry's Story.

Harry Kent was born in Plumley in 1893, one of thirteen children born to Henry William (a general labourer) and Sarah Ann Kent of Patmos Cottage, Plumley, Cheshire.

Harry's service record no longer exists but we know he enlisted first in the Cheshire Yeomanry as Private no. 1363 and then transferring into the Prince of Wales Volunteers (South Lancashire regiment) as Private 31520.

Harry died of wounds on the 21st October 1916.
