John's Story.
Son of Richard Alfred Shore of Mill Bank Farm, Faddiley. Former pupil at Brindley and Faddiley School. Was a farmer and his address on enlistment (February 9, 1915) was Royal Oak, One Tree Hill, Auckland. Embarked from Wellington on April 17, 1915. Died in the Egyptian Army Hospital, Cairo.
