Tom's Story.
Tom Griffith was 22 years of age when he was killed. He joined up on the 10th September 1917 and joined the machine gun corps. He went out to France on March 20th 1918.As a boy he attended the Weston Council Schools and the Weston Wesleyan Church. He was a member of the Sons of Temperance Friendly Society, and before joining up was employed at Castner Kellner's. At the time of his death one of his brothers had been killed, another had been discharged from the Army and three were still serving.
