Frederick William's Story.
Born Crewe, enlisted Manchester. Son of William Edward and Frances Mary Eaton of 50, Broad Street, Crewe. Educated at Crewe Secondary School. Was a premium apprentice in Crewe Works and later a foreman at Chester and Longsight Loco Sheds. Went to France on September 22, 1915. Died in hospital at Abbeville from a fractured skull.
