William's Story.

William Cooper was born in Mobberley in 1894, where he resided with his aunt in Newton Hall Lane, Mobberley.

He enlisted in the 10^th Battalion of the Cheshire Regiment in September 1914 as Private no. 15670.

He died at home on the 27^th September 1914.
