Charles's Story.
Born Wrexham, enlisted Crewe. Husband of Jane Condrey of 13, Cowfields, Nantwich. Formerly a pupil at Hightown LNWR Boys School and employed at Crewe Works as a bricksetters labourer. Local footballer who played for both Crewe Alexandra and Nantwich. Went to France on September 12, 1914.
