DIED OF WOUNDS.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Taylor, of 14, Warrington Street, Birkenhead, have received official news that their son, Pte. George C. Taylor, died of wounds at the clearing station in France on October 25th. He joined the Cheshire Regiment, and went out with that regiment to the Dardanelles, and served some months with them in Egypt, where he suffered from frost bite, pneumonia, etc., and was invalided home. Later, he was drafted out to France, where he met his death, as stated. Prior to joining the Army he was an apprentice engineer at Cammell Lairds. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor wish to thank all friends for their kind sympathy.
