AN ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN “GOES UNDER.”

Official intimation has been received that Private William Caffrey, of the Australian Forces, was killed in action on May 15th. He had been in Australia for ten years, and joined the colours at the outbreak of the war, serving 19 months in France. He was son of Mrs. Caffrey, and of the late Mr. James Caffrey, 96, Grange Road West, Birkenhead.
