THREE SONS AT THE FRONT.

BIRKENHEAD LAD KILLED IN ACTION.

Mr. and Mrs. Bridden, of 10, Brookland Road, Birkenhead, have received the sad news that their youngest son, Pte. Leslie Bridden, aged 18 years, and of the Manchesters, was killed in action on September 2nd. Pte. Bridden has been with the colours eight months, two of which had been spent in France. He was trained at Kinmel Park and was afterwards stationed at Yarmouth. Mr. and Mrs. Bridden have two other sons at the Front, one with the Liverpool Scottish and the other with the R.E.
