Sephin's Story.

Sephin Bradley was a career soldier. He was commissioned in the 1st Battalion of the Suffolk Regiment as a Second Lieutenant on the 20th September 1911.

On the 24th May 1915 the war diary states:

˜Valuable information was obtained by Lt. S Bradley and 2/Lt Kemble, who carried out reconnaissance under the fire of the enemy.

The following day (25th May) Shephin was reported missing later confirmed as killed in action.

On that fateful day:

The Battalion war diary for the Battalion says that they were involved in an attack on Bellewarde Farm near Poperinghe on the day he was killed.
