Links are snapped beyond repairing,
And the fondest chains are riven.
None can fill the void created,
But the gentle Hand of Heaven.
Yet again we hope to meet him,
When the day of life hath fled.
And in heaven we know he’ll greet us,
Where no farewell tears are shed.
Ever remembered by all at 4, Hall Lane, Lostock.

Gone is the face we loved so dear.
Silent is the voice we long to hear.
Far, too far, from sight and speech,
But not too far for our thoughts to reach.
From his loving aunt, uncle and cousins, Birchfield House, Manchester Road, Lostock Gralam.
