Birkenhead News  10 November 1917

DEATH OF WELL-KNOWN BOY

News has been received of the death in action of Pte. H. Bradley, who resided with his mother at 10, Oakfield View, Birkenhead. He was killed on October 19th. At the outbreak of war he joined the Royal Engineers, and was transferred to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Prior to joining the Army Pte. Bradley went to sea and was also employed on the golf links. He was educated at St. Peter’s School, and was very well known in the town. Much sympathy will be extended to the relations of Pte. Bradley in their sad bereavement.
