Frank's Story.
Lance Corporal Frank Dytor was reported missing in 20 January 1951 and was killed in action 28 July 1952.
Killed In Korea.
Twenty-six-year-old Frank Dytor, Crewe, a Lance Corporal serving with the Royal Ulster Rifles, who was previously reported missing Korea, and killed in January 1951. A regular soldier for eight years before his marriage in 1950. Lance Corporal Dytor was recalled for service after a break of only three months and before the end of 1950 sailed for Korea.
His wife Mrs Jean Dytor, 99 Rolls Avenue, Crewe, has now been officially informed of his death by the war office. On the same day, she ceased working in a nearby factory, having been declared redundant.
During his short stay in civilian life Lance corporal Dytor was employed at the Crewe factory of Nash-Kelvinator Ltd.
