Killed in action at Wytschaete on 30 Sept 1917. At 10:00pm on 30 Sept 1917 some camouflage on the gun pits caught fire from an enemy shell or bomb, and three of the officers, including 2nd Lt Bradshaw, came to put out the fire. Some ammunition was nearby, and the fire got to the ammunition just as the three officers were cutting away the burning camouflage materials and there was a large explosion that killed all three officers and a sergeant.

Thank you to Richard Flory for the information on Ernest.
