TRANMERE YOUTH KILLED IN SALONIKA.
News has been received by Mrs. Reader, of 27, Frodsham Street, Tranmere, that her son, Pte. James Reader, has been killed in Salonika. He joined the Cheshire Regiment early in 1915, and went to France in August of the same year, and finally went to Salonika, where he met his death. Prior to joining the Army, he was employed at Messrs. Cammell Laird and Co. He is one of five sons at the front. Deep sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
