Son of William and Sarah Ann Burnell of Newport Pagnell, formerly of 222, West Street, Crewe. Husband of Martha Burnell of
11, Myrtle Street, Crewe. A former tuber in Crewe Works (entered on May 11, 1914) and was a member of the
Crewe Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade.
