Frank William's Story.

Born 5 January 1921 at Northwich, son of merchant’s chief clerk, William and Jessie, (nee, Brockley), Price, of, Westcliff, Chester Road, Northwich, Cheshire. Frank had an elder brother, Geoffrey. Educated at St Chad’s School Prestatyn in 1934, here he gained School colours for athletics and became a School Prefect, leaving in 1939. He had been accepted as a member into the Institute of Actuaries with the intention of becoming an Actuary, before joining the Royal Air Force.

In 1945 he was based in Italy, and on Monday 12 February 1915, he was scrambled at 04-15 in his Mosquito NF.XII, H160 for action off Ravenna, on the Adriatic coast. He was last plotted North of Cervia at 04-37.
