William Edward's Story.

Born and enlisted Crewe. Son of James and Margaret Palin of 23, Stafford Street, Crewe and was a former pupil at Hightown LNWR Boys School. Worked prior to enlisting in the Crewe North Steam Sheds. First served in France, landing there on July 19, 1915.
