James's Story.

James was born in Lymm in 1886, 4th son of John and Ann Owen from Oughtrington, Lymm.  He was educated at Oughtrington School and attended St Peter's Parish Church.
In civilian life he was a brick setters labourer.  His family moved to Manchester but James stayed in Lymm, boarding with Mrs Mary Gibson of Sandy Lane, Lymm.
He enlisted with the Cheshire Regiment in 1914 in Altrincham, Cheshire and died of wounds on 15th April 1915.
