John's Story.

Born Hough, enlisted Chester. Son of James and Elizabeth
Charlesworth of Newcastle Road, Hough. Enlisted on May
26, 1904 and transferred to the Army Reserve on May 25,
1911. Husband of Rose Charlesworth and was a former
farm labourer. Went to France (Le Havre) on August 16.
